Our Community Beneficiaries

Giving Back To The Community

All proceeds from Lunar Ball benefit local Chicago charities, with an emphasis on the Asian American community. Grants to our community beneficiaries help provide needed services to youth, elderly, and refugees, encourage leadership development, and promote cultural awareness.

One of these charities is Project: VISION, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to providing youth in Chicago’s Bridgeport and Chinatown communities with the tools for educational, personal, and civic development.

Founded in 2003 by a small group of volunteers, Project: VISION has reached over 500 youths, providing them with tutoring, service learning, and leadership programs. 85% of the students Project: VISION serve are from low income families and most will be the first in their families to attend college.
